About the Parade

Celebrating the veterans of Hunt County

Every November, Greenville celebrates our veterans with a parade through downtown. It's a hometown tribute: neighbors, schools, churches, clubs and businesses lining up behind the people who earned the day.

The stars of the show are the veterans themselves, riding in Jeeps, classic cars and on motorcycles down Lee Street.

Past parades have featured the Greenville High School NJROTC, Lion Pride Marching Band and Flaming Flashes, the Hunt County Sheriff's Posse, and the Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association.

Thanks to the Hunt County Jeep Club, every veteran is offered a seat in a Jeep for the parade. Let us know you're coming so we can save you a spot.

The parade loops through historic downtown Greenville. Grab a curbside spot anywhere along Lee or Washington Streets.

01 Start Lee Street at Bois d'Arc Street
02 West on Lee Along Lee Street to Wright Street
03 East on Washington Back east along Washington Street

Floats, walking groups, bands, classic cars, motorcycle clubs, churches, schools, scout troops and local businesses are all welcome.

Registration is required Per the Greenville Police Department, every parade entry must register in advance. Unregistered entries will not be accepted on parade day.
